Understanding that your time is precious, we will get to understand what you want to get out of a trustee experience and select charities that meet your needs.

This service is free for potential trustees.

We cut out the leg work and bring you together with charities who can provide you with a positive experience of Charity Leadership.

The process is simple. Complete the application form below.

Once received we would like to talk to you either face to face or over the telephone to really understand what you want to get from the experience.

We will then search our database of charities for those right for you and make the introductions. The choice will be down to you and the charity, but it doesn’t end there. If it’s not working, come back to us and we can help resolve the problem or find you an alternative trusteeship.

Trustee Declaration of Eligibility

Most people over 18 years of age can become Trustees but a few are not eligible. Under the Charities Act 1993, (as amended by the Charities Act 2006) a minority of people are legally barred from becoming Trustees of a Charity.

By pressing 'submit', I declare that:

  • I am over age 18
  • I am not an undischarged bankrupt
  • I have not previously been removed from trusteeship of a charity by a Court or the Charity Commission
  • I am not under a disqualification order under the Company Directors’ Disqualification Act 1986
  • I have not been convicted of an offence involving deception or dishonesty (unless the conviction is spent)
  • I am, in the light of the above, not disqualified by the Charities Act 1993 (section 72) from acting as a charity trustee.

It is our policy to store data relating to recruitment procedures for up to a year after the date on which it is submitted. Any information of this nature will be treated confidentially.
